Beth El is an egalitarian Conservative Synagogue founded in 1924. From its beginning on Park Place and many years on Cooke Street in Waterbury, Beth El has relocated to the beautiful Walzer Family Jewish Community Campus in Southbury. We service the greater Waterbury and Danbury areas.

Directions:
From Bridgeport and points South: Take I-95 North towards New Haven. Take the CT-25/CT-8 exit towards Trumbull/Waterbury, Exit 27A. Continue on CT-8 North towards Waterbury. Take the Bank Street Exit, Exit 22. At the end of ramp turn left. At the traffic light, turn left onto RT 67 (Bank Street). Follow RT 67 through Seymour, Oxford and into Southbury (approx. 9 miles). You will go underneath I-84. Southbury Plaza will be on your right at the next intersection. Go straight and through one more set of lights at the intersection of 67 and Old Waterbury Road. Travel 0.5 miles and Beth El will be on your right hand side.
-or From the Merritt Parkway South: Take Merritt Parkway (CT15)North through Trumbull. Take RT 8 North, Exit 51 towards Waterbury. Take the Bank Street Exit, Exit 22. At the end of ramp turn left. At the traffic light, turn left onto RT 67 (Bank Street). Follow RT 67 through Seymour, Oxford and into Southbury (approx. 9 miles). You will go underneath I-84. From Danbury and Points West: Take I-84 East towards Waterbury. Take the Southbury Exit, Exit 15. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto RT 67. Go through three traffic lights. From the third light, travel 0.5 miles and Beth El will be on your right hand side.
From Waterbury and Points East: Take I-84 towards Danbury. Take the Southbury Exit, Exit 15. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto RT 67. Go through two traffic lights. From the second light, travel 0.5 miles and Beth El will be on your right hand side.
From the Washington, CT Area: Take Rt. 47 to Rt. 199. At the end of Rt. 199, turn left onto Rt. 67. Follow Rt. 67 into Southbury. At the Junction of Rt. 67 and Rt. 6 (traffic light), turn right at the light. Go approx. 0.5 miles and Beth El will be up on a hill on the left hand side.

Beth El has access to a Preschool and a Religious School at the Campus.
